bit of sad news form lefroy, our Commodore ,Lyndon Crockett passed away unexpectedly over the last weekend. he will be sadly missed by us all .
Lyndon had sailed with the club since 2010 and was always there when jobs needed doing. He represented Australia at the first mini worlds in Cherrieux , France in 2012
the club members will be camping overnight at lefroy on saturday night to give him a farewell and share some stories. and have a sail on Sunday.

Very sad news indeed.
I only met Lyndon a few times but truly enjoyed his company.
Always willing to not only share advice, but to take the time and effort to show how things worked.
Had some great tales to tell too.

Was shocked and saddened when I heard the news of Lyndon passing away. The club is the poorer with his passing. R.I.P. Lyndon

Sounds like a great loss to the land sailing community, and likely very much more to his family.
