Can somebody give me the correct ordering info for Fallshaw Wheels?
The numbers I found on here dont correspond to Fallshaw numbers and I am trying to get decent wheels
SPBRGQ6204X20 BEARING 6204 2RS 6204 bearing to suit 20mm axle 2 required per hub
SPHOUSING6204 N HOUSING FOR BAB62042RS BRG.
DRWG.NO. 256SQ20HOUSING. plastic housing to adapt 6204 to hub 2 required per hub
SPRIM8X250PW(NB)8X250 PNU RED PP WEB CTR, Plastic Hub, far far far better than any cheaper options
Part numbers I used for an order for four wheels in October 2021, they ended up at around $36 each and I purchased tubes and tyres separately elsewhere. Freight was $26 in this case. If you are trying to fit to a 25mm axle the first two items will change .
For five years I have tried not to spend the extra dollars a new fallshaw would cost. Despite all the posts recommending Fallshaws I tried to reinvent the wheel.
Pressed steel ultracheap chinese wheels that would explode their tyres on the second trip out, Light plastic rims that would take on the shape of an octagon when tyres were pumped up to landyacht pressures. These were duds.
Second hand Alloy boat trailer wheels that weigh three or four times the weight of the fallshaw when you include the stub axles needed. Secondhand Thick wall steel rims (old Lightburn and Goodyear branded) that had to be turned out to take bearings capable of land yacht speeds. Apart from the weight penalty and labour to adapt them these work and are tough but will slow you down.
Fallshaws are light and tough.
You are on the right track chasing them.
