Trailer needs all 4 wheels brakes on. Just a trailer is about 3/4 tun plus a boat.
Not many cars can tow it. I have Landy Discovery1 with ISUZU turbo diesel rated 4 tuns. Have seen ALU trailer, beauty & light but cost 15-20k.

Of course lowering the mast is big deal. Just setting up 2 version for Top Hat 25
and one for smaller mast. Seen it working, we wont to have set up
that one person can handle mast up and down.
You have to set up sub-mast / about 4m high/ and block&tackle.
It is simple but how is done, still needs to see drawing.
I would have that complete with picture, guess 2 months time.
/probably take a weekend, to complete but weather in Mel. is .....not friendly./

Lowering a mast is fairly easy and can be done by yourself. The picture is self explanatory. Your mast will be deck mounted so just ensure the top of the A frame is a couple of feet above the spreaders. Secure the base of the legs and brace them for and aft. Mainsheet is perfect for the purchase. Mast will not be that heavy just awkward. I've done it at the mooring and you can just about guarantee motor boats ripping past.
