Im looking at buying a yacht and curious to know if anyone is selling a mooring large enough for a 30 ft 3.5 t yacht?

First you have to get the mooring licence from RMS..
Your local Roads and Maritime Boating officer will sometimes be able to point you in the direction of someone giving up their apparatus, which is the bit that you can buy.

thanks Yarra I as just trying to get the jump on the RMS as you know they are fun to deal with at the best of times

Actually the BSOs that I have spoken to lately have been very helpful . Just got to know where to find them.

Maritime department was easy for me. Theres no way around it. Go in person pay the money and either get on a wait list or go straight on if.theres no.wait.list.
