My austral 20 swing keel has a seepage from the pivot pin, I have removed the hex nuts either side of the pin and all i found were 1 flat metal washer each side,no other form of seals are apparent, does any one know of a cure for this problem.
the pin appears to be a good tight fit in the casing.

On my old Austral 20, I altered the layout to fix the problem you have. I increased the hole size through the keel and installed two pieces of SS tube (tight fit on the SS bolt) each flanged on one end so that they could be inserted from either side of the keel case after the keel was installed into position. The combined pipe length needs to be a neat tight fit so that the flanges mate up to the centre case outside when the two pipe halves meet each other in the middle. The flanges were sealed to the centrecase with silicon and the bolt inserted and tightened up. The pipe stops you from overtightening it. The secret is to stop the flanges from turning so that the keel rotates on the pipe section without turning the them. I drilled a couple of small holes through each flange and screwed the flanges to the centrecase to make sure they didn't turn. This solved my problem.
