Has anyone recently got australian rego for their vessel?
The process looks complicated, expensive and open to interpretation
any tips / tricks / reccommendations appreciated.
I have had the boat 10 years but had it registered under british SSR (small ships register) for the first 5 years (now expired).
got to bite the bullet before july 2020...

I've found AMSA to be helpful and informative throughout the transfer of both my boats. Never a drama but both were previously registered.

same here, AMSA have been fine on the transfer I am progressing. Had to read the the marking requirements a couple of times to work out the requirements. There is a previous post on this website that will assist.
