Hello, I am trying to implement an autopilot system on my 44ft Roberts ketch.
I have a type 2 hydraulic pump (octopus) which I want to plumb into my existing hydraulic system.

Is it possible to get a control head, computer, compass and rudder sensor setup for a smaller boat e.g "st6001/ s2g smartpilot" and simply include some solenoids so as to control the type 2 pump?

Has anyone done this before or see why it wont work?
