Would you post some pics please mate??
I never take metal to the tip where the council charges you money to get rid of stuff especially brass, copper and bronze.
Scrap metal dealers pay good money and it is environmentally responsible too as it is part of the recycling process we should all take part in.
Why disperse metal in land fills??
G'day mate. I have a bloke who might want it. Our tip has a recycling centre so it will be processed and not go to landfill.
It is a bit of a pile of parts given to me by MB's previous owner. I'm not even sure it all comes from one winch although what is there does appear to fit together. Obviously pick up only, would cost a bomb to send anywhere. I'm keeping all the old hose and boat bits for MB's new owner, when I find one.
We are cleaning the house out for the upcoming auction so lots of junk has to go. I gave what felt like half a Morris Minor to their club and will donate a lot of my old Triumph bits to my club. Amazing how much crap you get when you have been in the same place for 22 years.
