No need to apologise in getting your position west of Eden. Plenty of top navigators with a proud history of doing the same.
I remember hearing the lady running the sked (at Penta Comstat ?) in the Montague Island race in the early 90's, querying a very forth right navigator who gave his position as roughly 2miles west of Canberra. You could hear the rest of his crew laughing in the background as he hastily corrected his co-ordinates.
I knew a snorkeler from eden, used to eat abalone.. theres one rock not on charts somewhere in twofold, huge mussels and secret lobster nook... Cannot stop laughing that as one proudly sailor cruising along, snorkel man decides to stand on reef barely two feet below low tide. How can i describe a sailors antics when he realises something is very very wrong? Umm, yeah! Vote 1 fer sex dahlings...
