we're sitting in Pacific Ck for the second night. Had a beautiful day fossicking on the beach and walking up to the lighthouse and through the bush to the cemetery.

Left Brissie finally on the 26th Sept...got waylaid as my sister lost her house and all belongings in a house fire so wanted to see her and her boys half way sorted before we left.

Had a few days in the Sandy Straits...Pelican Bay then Garry's Anchorage...where is that goddam Lake Garry????

Urangan to drop off Ivan's son, George to get back to Brissie for high school. Urangan for way too long!! Can't say it's a fave!!

Burnett Hds overnight thence out to LMI for 3 nights..............way too short a time. It's like the love boat out there with all the turtles mating.........one couple even went to sleep whilst coupling in the shallows as the tide went out........funny!!

Big SE blow sent us into Pancake.........where we stayed for nearly a week.

Left probably before we should have...Dear Hubby got bored....SE still roaring with a huge leftover groundswell..............leaving Pancake I'm considering our death options.........breakers onto rocks on the right or breakers onto sandbanks and Janson Rocks on the left. However, our old Crowther girl treated us right and surfed into Gladdy 3 hours later.

Now we're in Pacific Ck, leaving a.m. to go to Keppel for the foreseeable future.
