Dammit Graham, you reading my mind again? I've always had a soft spot for Cheoy Lee boats.

Also a nice looking Elan 43 in Bundaberg at the moment, Maybe Cisco could comment on that one. http://yachthub.com/list/yachts-for-sale/used/sail-monohulls/-lan-43/118158

Plus that gorgeous Carabic 40 in Langkawi yachthub.com/list/yachts-for-sale/used/sail-monohulls/caribic-40/112405

Why are all these people teasing me like this?

Don't know the Elan. It looks like it is in the yard at Bundaberg Port Marina which is choc a' block full of yachts and motor boats.

People must have plenty of cash as it certainly not cheap to have a yacht there.

Absolutely magnificent fit out on both those you posted Loose Change.

Lot of boat for the money with that Cheoy Lee Ramona.

Have a look at cheap boats in USA, I had a quote to move a 1998 Corsair from LA to Fremantle, yacht 24k asking price (would be happy to pay 20k) transport roll on roll off 6.5K total 26k+ GST and handling in Perth (fumigation....... roll of customs)
i am thinking about it!
Have alook here if you want to dream! www.sailboatlistings.com/

Don't want to put u off felix but don't take customs , aquis, handling ( get a copy of aussie dock charges its pretty funny )and gst ( and duty if it wasnt built in the states) and an import broker too lightly

I'm sure you can do it cheaply(ish) but unchecked those extras could double the cost of your boat !

Second
Thoughts that's still good value for a sweet tri can you grab me one while you are at it

yes i know............. it is a bit early as i am checking all venues.......... one of my mate (cashed up bogan) Imported a bayliner (stinker) from USA for 16k all costs,3tonnes of a boat and that was delivered to his door! Not too bad if you think all up was 60k and the boat is valued (insured) for 95k........... it is a big centre console 3 yo with 2x 200HP outboards....... yuck! 800 L fuel tank!

All that effort for a binliner! Still that is good value and if you think of most of those costs being fixed then the more you spend the more you save ! Probably best to go for the F31

They are a lovely boat. A couple of years ago they were over $90,000. It is an auction, I'll be surprised if it sells for under $60,000, but what a buy at that price.

Refurbished lifeboat

Lovely looking vessel.

For those who are more into yachts.

www.ebay.com.au/itm/Yacht-Supersonic-27-/190736069984?pt=AU_Boats&hash=item2c68c17560

This yacht was here holed up during one of the Westerly gales we had a few weeks ago. Young shipwright owner was telling me the original owner had the boat built to race in the Sydney Hobart but the entry was rejected because it was too small, some legal wrangles ensued. Well fitted out vessel in good nick and perfect for the owner who is interested in actually sailing. Interestingly he was in company with a motor sailer who ended up staying here several days. The young bloke who was single handed, had to get back to Batemans Bay for work and left while it was still blowing the oysters off the rocks!

The Burnett Heads Marina slipway and yard are closing down soon.

The owner has scored one or two yachts due to unpaid fees.

One of them is this Adams 36 Motor Sailer (steel hard chine) and rumour has it that it will be offered for sale for around $35 to 40 k ready to go. It is being prepared for launching as we speak.
