Does anyone know where I can get parts for a Barlow 16 winch? Hutton can't help, but maybe there is somewhere else? I need the plastic retaining cap that holds the winch together. Otherwise maybe someone knows where I can get a whole new winch, preferably with a screw that holds it together, and not the plastic cap thing! Several are available in the US and Virgin Islands, but a bit far and expensive with tpt costs.

Just looking at the photos on this page of the item it might pay to find a pensioner friend with a lathe. The black nylon bearing material would suit the job well. The material costs would be minor but the labour costs would be high so if would definitely be a job for a hobbyist.

Maybe a local mens shed, they are often up for a challenge and have all the good gear when it comes to tools

Hello saliorsilas I've got a Barlow 16 fixed to the bench I use for pulling in splices. Let me know if you still need help with yours. Mine has an allen key center bolt that holds the winch together.

I've also got 5 smaller Barient 8p winches in a box if somebody wants them.

Could that part be 3d printed by someone, out of a suitable material?
