That's the one Supersonic27, hauled her out yesterday 6thFeb. it went well but the diesel guy will need to look at the engine stop solenoid as it sticks closed and won't start, it's an an easy fix I think.
When the current owner bought the boat he stripped out every thing, the roden stove, oven, cabin door, radar,Magma rail mount bbq,Icom m700/at120 tuner, backstay antenna, 40w solar panel on board and a brand new one unopened,
storm main,#3 jib, spinnaker triradial with sock, katadyn 12v operated water maker and the list goes on for a page and a half, It might appear that I'm gloating

The gear is at his home but will be put into storage at Woy Woy until I can get down again an transport it to the boat.
The owner raced the boat an didn't want all that stuff on board, when he went out for the day he took a thermos of tea and a bag of sangers so he didn't need the stove, but the eutectic fridge works well.
My wife is having knee op. on the 17th Feb. and only when she is back on her feet and driving will I be able to bring the boat back to QLD. Prob. mid to late April.
A friend of mine who has done a lot of sailing ( on s&s 34s the Meltemi Spelling? and other boats) and he has done the trip from Pittwater to QLD before,
my son is also keen to do the trip.
So thanks Morningbird and Supersonic27 that's a very kind offer, at the moment I'm right for crew, but in the future who knows??
Cheers
Bill
