Bundaberg Sailing Club's Midnight Run. Only two boats managed to finish the race after the fleet ran into ever increasing SE winds. Mike Shelley on his big Cat 'Time Bandit' looked a chance to set a new race record but with the SE wind and seas building he decided the record would have to wait instead easing sheets and settling for line and handicap honours. In 2nd place also on a Cat was Shane Woods and his crew on Shane's Seawind 24 'Drippin Wet' (very appropriately named given the conditions). It was a super effort by both skippers and their crew and I think Mike would agree that the performance of Shane and his crew on a Seawind 24, in those conditions, over that distance deserves an extra pat on the back. To the crews who erred on the side of caution and comfort there is always next time.

Looks like you have a bit of work to do but It will be worth it when it all finished.
