I have a Raymarine C80 plotter with a Raymarine Raystar 125 GPS antenna/Receiver connected to the seat talk bus.
The auto helm and the wind speed are also on the same bus.
The Compass , Fast heading is connected via NMEA.
My problem is that I get a sea talk failure message when the GPS is connected. The error goes away if I disconnect either the C80 plotter sea talk cable or i disconnect the GPS. The whole system has been working in it's current configuration for 6 years so the way it is connected is not a problem but it could be a bad connection.
It seams to be either a GPS fault or the cable but without a replacement I cant check.
Does anyone have any experience with this or know of anyone selling a working GPS and Cable
