<div class="content">Would anyone know of long term (6-12 months) reasonable priced catamaran leasing? We're looking at buying a 40' catamaran but are really only after one for 6 to 12 months of cruising the Qld coast. We see so many cats left unused (apparently used for an average of 16 days a year) sitting in marina berths. This must be costing them huge marina fees, let alone insurance, maintenance, ect. Are there people out there prepared to lease their boat out for a reasonable amount (not the $1000 a day like in the Whitsundays). Surely if we pay for full insurance and any wear and tear, on top of the leasing fee, someone would be interested? We consider ourselves very responsible, and worked around boats for most of our lives. So does anyone have any thoughts, or may know someone that's interested.

the problem is that to rent your yacht or catamaran you need to have it certified for rental and most people do not want to go through the hassle and expenditure that takes to do.
