I've removed the stern bearing and measured it as best as possible. It was solid rubber compound with no metal sleeve.
The measurements I got appear to be imperial.

Shaft dia. spot on 1" .
OD 1 11/16"
length 5 3/4"

Has anyone else with a Clansman taken these measurements? The OD is the hard one as the old one was a bit distorted after removal.

The only one I can find with these diameters is 12" long, part # 27101, which is fine as I can cut it to length, but confirmation would be good before I shell out over $250.

If I buy this one and cut it down I will be happy to sell the other piece for half the purchase price.

The usual thing is to buy on shaft size and larger than the outside diameter and turn it down to suit. Its only 5 minutes in a lathe and you should have some pensioners there with a lathe busting for something to do. Either brass casing or 'glass or straight plastic/rubber. $250 is a little over the top!
