Cover them! It is the UV rays that are the biggest killer.

Visor cleaner works well to clean them. But as FreeRadical alludes to once they are sun affected its all over. Mine have a sort of crazed effect and I think it adds to privacy so I'm keeping them.

Phil, go to a motorcycle shop and ask for Plastx, I think it is, it's very good on the polycarbonate visors, and although my Mk111 has crazed windows, it does polish them up nicely.

Further to that ,there is another product called Vuplex.

It's in an aerosol can(300ml I think) for about $20.00.

We have had great results from this product.

The windows arn't crazed, just dirty with bird **** marks, needed something to clean and polish to protect from the flying rats!

PS Now that is interesting, the word **** was as you can see altered during posting. I supose that means I can't call anybody a ****!

With no crazing and just bird crap and dirt then any automotive cut and polish will work just fine. To keep the windows cleaner for longer I use one of those synthetic detailing sprays like Turtle Wax ICE.
