Hi Guys,

I've recently published and ebook - Cruising Essentials for TS and Small Boat Skippers. You can download a "First Chapter" for free to check out the contents or the full book (around 180 pages of information, ideas and over 300 illustrations) for $US3 from the www.bookhabit.com. website. Just go to non-fiction, adventuring to find it. Due to the way the so-called "First Chapter" was compiled (it's actually some sample pages rather than the actual first chapter), it comes up a bit fuzzy. The download of the whole book is sharp as a tack and higher definition (print quality). Hope you enjoy it.

Good one Bob,

I have also downloaded "A Fright a Day" which is a good read.

Thanks Phillip,
This book is my first venture in the world of ebooks and I am trying to get an feel as to how they are taken up by cruising yachtees. Do they for instance keep them in dig form and read them on a laptop or do most print out for a hard copy. There are obvious advantages to the cruising skipper to be able to download for such a good price. My intial research suggested that only 1 in 5 skippers who got to know about the book would actually download it. Believe it or not, the groups of people who a) can't use the internet or don't have access to it, b) won't download of it for fear of getting a nasty and c) would never contemplate using an internet payment........made up over 80% of my sample. Current download figures are suggesting I wasn't that far off the mark.
