does anyone know how far up Currambene creek you can get in a tinny assuming you are on the top half of the tide.

Depends how keen you are. Google Earth might be your best bet here.

Don't know about now, but a rooly rooly long time ago you could get almost within sight of the bridge on the highway. There hasn't been a good flooding rain for years down the creek so could be a few snags about that would impede your progress.
