Dunlop Volleys (not the Big W/Target ones) do the job for me. I got 2 pair for $45.

I have a leg disability so find crocs (i wear them at home) and volleys don't have the support I need.

I used to sell Dubarry's so I wear a pair of those that they no longer make (yes I have got 2-3 racing seasons out of them!) but find the AC's great www.google.com.au/search?q=ac%27s+shoes&es_sm=122&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ved=0CEQQsARqFQoTCKrsud6Dp8cCFUGppgodBVAIIw&biw=1745&bih=926

In fact noticed that alot of Volvo sailors wearing them in warmer climates!!

I second that.
Top pic after two years, bottom pic the new one. (Climbing the rocks on shore done most of the damage. If only used on the boat it would last much longer!)
Good comfy shoe with drain holes and good grip.
They call it the "Gybe Walker" .

True HG the Croc Is can be hard to find but up here in Cairns there is a Croc Shop who always has stock because they are at The Pier so high demand. Also for some reason the Totally Workwear Shop stocks them.

I've had the AC's from a $2 store as Chinese knockoffs haven't seen them again but they must be out there. They were nice. Went for a tenner. Should've bought a dozen.

I am a former triathlete and have loads of these left over from those days...

The sole is grippy and non-marking, mesh uppers and drainage holes in the sole. Only drawback is I look a bit of a tool :)

ACs are the best By any I have tested! I noticed you took the soles out ....first thing I do when I buy them.

I'm bare footed on my own yachts but company policy's now comply shoes on charter vessels.

i do admit I was wearing black fluffy slippers on deck when I sailed Tassie waters!

Bare feet, hands, knees do not work for me.
Always end up with blood all over the deck, cockpit like a charnel house.
In the wet or cold the blue Bourke boots are good with a thick sock.

A lot of the time on mine I just wear my crocs that I wear on land (bright blue with yellow straps and my wife hates them and says they look ridiculous ) but on the boat I race on I wear these with short socks

The are grippy and light and don't seem to smell too much

Regards Don
