I came across this in my youtube feed. Does anyone know this boat and if any more were produced?

I remember watching this or the same thing on TV. It was impressive at the time, and I guess it must have been Beyond 2000 I saw it on.
I wonder if it got used for hulls since then?

Yes, only a couple done. Gelignite I sailed on a few times, nothing wrong with the boat at all and was enjoyable to sail.

Good to know, fascinating construction process. Do you know why they didn't make more than the two?

Very interesting, and only $35 worth of bang cord (not sure what that would equate to in today's dollars).

Especially considering they said the mold was good for 200 boats.
