Thanks everyone,
I was searching for ages trying to find these rollers. A friend recommended i go on a forum and ask. i have read the forum before but never engaged. This is brilliant. Buying the rod and heading over to a mate with a lathe. This has saved me a lot of money. Thanks everyone for your help.
Another question while I am going. The Genoa track, is made up of 2 peices that don't quite aline. any thoughts there? I am thinking of loosening the screws, clamping it across and tightening them again hoping that they grab at a different spot. Is this a waste of time. Am I better to remove the track completely. take out the timber packer and renew and drill new screws. Don't want to do more than I need.
Depends where the join is. Most people don't move the cars very much. If you have a furling headsail the car is in the right spot no matter how much sail is out. If it's just for appearance, then move the unused piece and fill the gap with JB_Weld.
