I'm sure it has been mentioned before but for those who have not seen it, the Brisbane city council is planning on removing sailing vessel access to the Brisbane CBD. The planned navigation height is 12.7m, the same as the captain cook bridge which is of course blocked to all but trailer sailor type vessels. Ideally, they raise the navigation height up to something sensible.
Of course this won't affect most of you directly but it will limit anyone with a cruising slant that may have wanted to check the area out which I can say is a very regular occurrence currently.
Anyway, for anyone that may want to express some displeasure to this can have a for the next few days (until Friday 18th September 2020). See below excerpt:
