Hi all
My poor cat is desperate for new non-skid, to the point that alot of the paint is now gone and exposing the epoxy filler underneath to the sun. I don't have time for a proper repaint due to other sailing commitments but I was wondering, if I prime it, will that provide some UV protection? I know it's not meant for that. Will it just chalk up and make the re-paint job worse down the track?

most of the work is in the surface prep (sanding ) you may as well repaint non skid surfaces properly if the surface is in reasonable condition
we use either wattyl poly u 400 with hempel plastic particle if we want a gloss finish or
wattyl eb 600 with plastic particle if a satin finish this has the advantage of bonding very well and needing less surface prep
both are 2 pack
