I'm looking at buying a spacesailer 20, however the owner has told me that it draws 1.6 m, although from some online research I think it may not draw this much. I was just wondering if anyone could confirm if this is the case? I intend to launch it from Bayswater which is close to my house, but am unsure if it will be able to get through some of the shallower parts of the Swan, especially around South Perth before the narrows.
Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks.

If it's a Fixed Keel version it draws 3 ft 6inches.....(so just over a meter)
If it's a swing keel version I'm not sure what it's draft is fully lowered but you wouldn't need to if motoring. I would be more concerned about getting under the causeway bridge without " the locals" hurling something at you....
There was also a drop keel version in later runs of the model but again you wouldnt need to lower the keel if motoring.
