Hi all, i have quite a few sanitation hose in head with 40 connection with hose clamps and there are about 5 or more slow leaks. There doing my head in, there a nightmare to take on and off. Ive replaced some hose with new connection but still leaks, is there a trick with these to stop the leaks.
Thanks

Some sanitation hose internal ribs aren't as big as other. Look around at different suppliers . Maybe RTM. Always use a hot air gun (or something) to soften the hose prior to putting on and do up the double hose clamps while the hose is still soft.

Run a heafty bead of silicon sealant or something like fixtech 15 around the end of the hose barb and then push the hose on and do up the clamps

Some of the spiral toilet hose has a tiny spiral groove on the inside which often needs a sealant to stop it weeping along the groove. WHAT Jolene said is the go.

Success at last. Thank you guys. Fixtech 15 has worked, plus i tightened the bejesus out of it, as in the past I've stripped the hose clamps but this time it worked.
