Yeah, I Googled it too and the UK site says Grey or Off White but the Oz doesn't say. I don't remember the local Whitworth's having two colours.

Just googled the specs of interprotect looks like the same stuff as jotamastic 90 tho jotun recomened a longer cure time before immersion. I hope you folks aren't paying the whitworths prices ?!

Interprotect is basically white - I've used lots of it and tinted it with epoxy paste to get guide coats etc when fairing. I've used the Jotun equivalent cheaper but I've found not as good IMHO.

Dirty white with slight shade of grey mostly but on odd batches I've had it as a slight cream .
Unless you are using it under International Antifouling I'd use Norglass Shipshape instead which requires less coats to get the same thickness as Interprotect , more chip resistant IMO and looks good enough to sail even without a topcoat , comes in off white and can use the leftover to give the inside a coat of paint if you don't mind a slight yellowing with exposure to sun over time.

I follow that up with 1 coat of Perfection Undercoat, a second coat of 50/50 Undercoat/topcoat and then 2 coats of Perfection topcoat , light sanding between coats and everything painted with Harris Taskmaster brushes. You can clean up the brushes in Methylated spirits.
And no need to rush to finish everything off in one day since sanding will hide the overlaps for all but final coat.
Norglass 2 pack Gloss is a good alternative to Perfection , made locally and slightly cheaper per Ltr.

I used intraprotect on Josie, Bunyip's plank, the nethercott Craig has, followed by 2 coats of perfection undercoat & 3 coats of perfection, roller & tipped, then flattened off with wet n dry through the grits to 1200 & buffed (you should check it out in June ??)

-definitely a version of white

-It hardens after a week or so noticeably so get your intercoat sanding done sooner then later on the last coat

- have used shipshape, prefer intra protect as it rollers & tips better, though I haven't tried thinning down either

Only time I roll & tip Interprotect myself is under antifouling, otherwise I build it up mostly with brush only these days as the rollers seem to fall apart after 5 minutes and either swell up if foam or start shedding. Even faster if I use thinners.
You can go 6 months between coats of Interprotect without sanding as its extra long curing so I always leave the last coat until 2-3 days before ready to paint the undercoat so is just cured enough for undercoat but not fully cured.
