I am amazed we have not heard more about the death of one of Australia's well known yacht and dinghy designers.

This is a tragic way to go.....hope the Philipino cops catch the bastard/s.
Australia has lost some big names this year, hope they are all sitting in the big yacht club bar up there.

Having been to the Philippines several times whilst in the Navy I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for the cops to do anything, let alone arrest anyone.

Tragic loss, he designed some really great boats.

That is really sad. He was a gentleman and certainly did not deserve that kind of death. R.I.P.

I agree and have also been surprised that there has been virtually nothing in the media to give some public record and recognition of his achievements and contribution to the Australian and wider sailing industry.

Having worked on his yachts and now I own one it is a tragic loss to the sailing community Joe Adams R.I.P.
