Yeah, you would want to be careful buying a 20yo race boat that has been sailed hard across oceans.

No, I disagree. You can totally trust an Australian Sailing keel test. Get the 3rd year apprentice to give the keel a bit of a kick while it's in the slings, see how much it wobbles, and then you're good to go! ;)
