Hey everyone!

My name is Xaver, I am 18 years old and come from Germany. I'm currently travelling around the world and helping rebuilding homes for earthquake victims in Nepal at the moment. However, i will fly to Australia in the end of February!

I am really interested in learning a few basic skills in sailing, especially because I have in mind to hitchhike on a boat on one of my travels and that would be easier with some knowledge.

Would anyone in the region around Sydney who is sailing be keen to share their knowledge and teach me a few things? I can't pay money, because I have a really low budget, but in exchange I would help you with any work on the boat and if you go on longer trips do cooking and cleaning!

I'm a very quick learner and have tried a lot of things for my age, so I think it will be fun for you teaching me too Apart from that I'm doing extreme kayaking on a high level and would be more than happy showing you a bit of that if I ever have the chance!
