Saw the trailer, only just made it through that. No chance I'd be able to sit through the movie.

Hi All@Sea

i think you should give it a go

I was a pretty good movie with a decent story line and a bit of a twist at the end

My wife who only went to see it because i wanted to go enjoyed it as well

We also went to see All is Lost and this is a much better movie

I was pretty critical at first but ended up really affected and 8/10.. Could have been 11/10 if they'd changed a few minor things..I'd recommend it.

saw it on the weekend and was impressed i could imagine the whole scenario happening even if the cgi scenes in the storm were unbelievable the rest was very real .An amazing woman to have survived the ordeal

It was a nice story. I don't particularly like the constant flashback style of filming, but I can see why it was needed in this case.
I googled the true story and watch a few interviews with the real Tami after I got home, and what a remarkable women. Not just in survival, but in life. It was also good to hear that she worked on the set and thought that Hollywood 'mostly' were on point.

we saw it last night, yeah quite watchable and good actors suck you in pretty well.
I think its hard for anyone with sailing knowledge to not see a film of this type and not pick up a few things, inc my kids had some questions afterwards that they thought we dodgy.

A different take on the usual ?lone at sea', but still one you can take the better half to.
Thanks for the recommendations to see it.

I'm giving it 4 stars,

Took the Missus to see this today. The CGI was a bit over the top in the storm scenes but I thought it was one of the better yachting movies I have seen. I would certainly recommend it. Wife thought it was OK.
Compulsory viewing for those that go to sea with hanked on headsails.

Without giving too much away what did those who have seen it think about the twist at the end

I personally didn't see it coming

Me neither! The wrap up at the end made the movie too.
