The wife and I have been planning for a number of years to eventually purchase a 45-50 ft boat to live aboard and cruise.
I know everyone has there own favourites but wondering what are some suggestions.
We are looking at 45-50ft.
We want to spend $200000 max purchase is in about 5 years time so boats at $250000 now should be within our price range when purchased.
We plan to live aboard for a few years before taking off and cruising for another 10 years.
We don't want a racer but also we want something we can make reasonable times in.
Prefer glass.
Cruising will be in both warm and cold climate.
So what are the suggestions?
Originall we were thinking of a Roberts Maritiaus would like a supper maruma but they are expensive.

But if you only want cruise in the south west Pacific and Tasman Sea get a displacement power boat.
Far cheaper to run more room and better in the cold.

Definitely looking at going further afield.
We are also planning on remote locations.

Well I have this vessel in my saved list in case I suddenly win the lottery. It's too big and needs some changes to the reefing gear but it's a genuine Swan.
