I've only done this regatta once before and last time it was 15-20knts with very confused seas. Think fremantle but a little bit worse especially if your the unlucky class that's out around the reefs. Like I said I've only sailed their once so not sure if what we had that weekend was the norm.
I'll be on an F18.

Hey torch , comet bay mandurah is great water to sail on. thew weather usually is light to moderate easterly's morning to 15 to 18 knot south westerlies in the afternoon , the seas are not the short sharp chop of gage roads but rolling seas with greta down wind surfing. there are 3 courses 2 inside the bay and one off point robert . to which the lasers, 420,s fireballs , 470's wil be sailing on. what class do you sail. Any questions ring me on 0407428221 as i am the regatta chairman..

Luffy

Thanks for putting on a fantastic regatta!! Saw how hard you guys were working all weekend and it showed. Was a really well run, positive and fun event, well done. F18's and F16's had a ball and are already talking about next year.

Cheers
Gav

Great Regatta, however could we dial down the waves a bit, the boat was a little too airborne at time ;)
