Good day.
I am trying to find a marine single din stereo to replace the aging Axis unit we have onboard.
I would like the following features.
- Mechless
- Zero current draw memory backup
- Bluetooth
- Front USB socket *which charges IPHONES* preferably ipads as well.
- Half decent sound (4*50w)
For under $200 bucks. Perhaps a bit more for a decent rig.
Am I dreaming?ThanksEd

I recently put a fusion stereo in my boat. A bit more expensive than you want to spend.

As the unit will be interior to the boat, I am thinking of putting a 'normal' head unit in.
My point is the Kenwood KMM-BT303 is currently $96 bucks at Super Crap Auto and does all of the above, apart from the zero current draw memory thing.

I replaced the good old kenwood tape deck ( because the rubber band broke) with a JVC unit not to many flashing light ticks all your boxes except the memory current but how much can that be anyway ? Oh yeh it fit straight in where the kenwood came from wiring harness just plugged in !

I have the Kenwood KMM-BT303 (mentioned above) in my car and it is very good.
Seriously thinking of puting one in the Cavalier's saloon.

Have had the Kenwood mentioned above in our boat for over a year - no probs. Hooks via Bluetooth to smartphone & we play jukebox Spotify on deck via external waterproof speakers. Only adaption I make is to wrap stereo with contact before installing & avoid it getting wet.

I recently went down that path, but not with a Kenwood.
I replaced my ageing original Pioneer am/fm/tape with a QM-3788 in-dash multimedia player from Jaycar. It worked brilliantly with all the features that I could want.
Except it flattened the house battery on the first night (and every other time I used it). I have since removed it and replaced with a GME GR200 which has an input cable from an external device. In my case the mobile. No more power problems and I can still listen to my music. Not high tech, but it works. I do miss the remote control to turn up the music from the helm tho.
I suspect the Bluetooth feature was the power killer and I could not find a way to turn it off. The QM-3788 is sitting in my garage going to waste if you want to make an offer.......
