Another Masters Prentice has caught my eye ,one was literally all but given away on GC last year , and am in two minds about this one for solo sailing as well as getting it back to the GC. For a start looks like running backstays.
I can't find anything whatsoever about them . Anyone have any knowledge where to look.

the masters 24s are awesome light air boats but like most ior shapes become unstable running in medium to heavy breeze though delivering the boys boat back to the slip from manly in a stiff afternoon seabreeze f 20 knots she felt completely in control with full main and kite . my favourite one would be jenny which was ross prentices one where he wedged the stern to give her a bit more volume aft stabilizing more for running also modified the cockpit layout . I personally love running backs as they give you so much more control and safety as when its really blowing reef the main below the forestay pull both runners on and there are 3 backstays holding up the mast but I have also seen some masters 24s converted to swept back though I would steer clear of these
in conclusion I think they are a great club racer cruiser build quality vary considerably as many were completed by owners though I have never seen a bad one , so attention should be paid to the survey I have never witnessed osmosis in one

Thanks Boty and Lydia, Greatly appreciated. I just knew they would be a good boat from their lines.
I really liked the tri-colour one that was for sale on the GC a couple of years ago even though it needed some work but at the time incorrectly believed I had a length and beam limitation of 6 and 2ish.
I'll go for a sail tomorrow and think about following up on it.
