Hi all

I'm looking for a mooring minder type boat (cheap) for my father's mooring in Pittwater. I was looking at an open day sailor type boat (Soling, Star, Flying 15). If it's on Sydney Harbour and sailable then the delivery isn't a problem. I've already been through boat point and such so I'm looking for something that isn't listed yet. Not really interested in the Bluebird / Hood 23 (cabin) type boats.

If anyone has suggestions about other classes of sailboat that I should try I'd appreciate that too. Thanks

Have a putt thru the moorings on the western side of Scotland Island. Bound to find something there..

Hi,
I know that there was a 30ft Ferro on Pittwater that was going for a minimal amount.
Try Yachthub.com.au
Good luck.
Aint these beaurocrats a pain.

Hi Jethrow,
What about a Jubilee? There is a good fleet of Jubilees these days on Pittwater with 9 entries in the recent Easter Regatta. I understand that there is an unloved boat in someone's back yard, possibly at Mona Vale, and the fleet is talking about rescuing it. The best contact would be through the NSW Jubilee association. See the contact links on their website at www.jubileeyachts.com. Hope to see you in action soon. The Woody Point Yacht Club caters for almost anything that floats - including several Jubilees. www.wpyc.com.au
Cheers

G'day Gravy

Yeah, I hadn't thought of the Jubilee's even though I have a few friends that sail them. One even used to own one. I'll look into it...
