Anyone been up here?

At 11.5m mast height and 1.3m draft, it looks like we'll fit.

It's always great to have local knowledge, encouragement or even a Nooooooo don't do it!

If you've got some info, hints as to the best place to tie up would be great.

Cheers

Not sure if the Bridgewater bridge is working so that will be the limit I suspect.
Check with MAST

Did you get any further info from MAST Bristol? I thought they had fixed the opening mechanism a while back? I haven't been through on a yacht, but I took my trailer boat up there and under the bridge a few years ago (I just dropped the bimini and squeezed under). I didn't go all the way to New Norfolk as I needed to be sure I still had a lower tide to get back under. What I would say is to keep your focus on the channel markers in the lead up to the bridge. The channel wanders a bit and soon as you deviate, it's very, very shallow!

Drove to NN yesterday and there was a large motor cruiser going past the mill. Its not likely that it stays permanently above the bridge, so I'd say there's a fair chance the bridge still opens.

Looking at this website the bridge appears to be opening
