You are much better getting a local sailmaker who has a loft overseas to sort the sail for you as if you have issues you have someone to help out. They will also come to your boat and measure everything meaning if something is wrong it's their responsibility.

Alot of the smaller lofts do some pretty good pricing as they have small overheads and offer good personal service.

Get a quote from the locals first then try that other ex local Rolly Taskers. I think his main loft is in the Phillipines. Even the locals will probably have the sails made overseas and stick on their logo. Ask them if they make them on site.

I presume your looking for a main for your tri. There is a nice set of sails in Pentex here in town for a Benateau 27 on eBay that has just dropped to half price. Check the dimensions. Cats and tri's will normally need flatter sails but these look good.
Thank you guys for the links, yes it is for my Farrier as the main is a bit over worked and doesn't hold a shape anymore.I will try to get some quotes and decide on price, the one on ebay looks good, have to get the size of my old one and see if it fits!
I agree with above.I thought you maybe looking for a sail for racing but if you are just looking for new pinhead sail, because they are great for solo and cruising aswell, then go standard.If your looking for big square head then talk to qauntom.Rather than mess around getting em cut down, you got the tri for a bargain so you wont lose.

to plan for 720 is: Luff 8.72 Leech 9.1 foot 2.95
That's a fairly small sail. Another thought is a secondhand Nacra sail. The class has gone to square topped mains and some very good sails have now become obsolete. Probably need to be shortened down but that's easy.
I have seen some acceptable fareast sails, ok if you want triangles with eyes in corners to go on telegraph pole masts. But I have seen a few on ex-racing boast with bendy rigs where the sail needed personification in its design. They were terrible and dangerous, to the point where they affected the integrity of the rig.
