I want to retire shortly and I am keen to get into trailer sailer adventure.
I am not into speed or racing but more want to cruise, sail, explore, fish, laze about and occasionally I will do this on my own.
The price range I have looked at is between 65k and 75k.
First of all. It is not a good idea to publish your email address on a forum. You will get spammed, quick as a wink.
This forum has a private messaging system within it. It's great.
Secondly, others here have offered very good advice.
For trailer sailers within your price range I have posted a link below.
Unfortunately for you these yachts go very fast whether you like it or not. They can even go fast with no sails up depending on conditions.
However, because they go fast, they will get you to your destination quicker so you have more time to "explore, fish, laze about, cook, read books and enjoy the solitude".
Sounds like you have not much experience at this game. Best way to gain experience is from somebody else on his boat. Be sure to compensate him/her adequately.
Click on this link for the yachts in your price range. If you like and buy one of them and want somebody to show you the ropes, send me a message via the forum.
