Looks great - and should sail great. Northshore has a great name both cruising and racing.

Well I think Northshore 27's are a great boat.Google Northshore 27 for sale and compare what you get for less than $40k. add a modern boom and a good set of racing sails. I do like the stowage theyve added in the V berth and I might copy the stormboard stowage on my boat

I own a Northsore 33 so I am of course biased but the Northshore 27/33/38 line up is an Australian classic of sail boat design and quality production. The fact they are still in production, albeit the ownership has changed hands through the years, is a testament to this. The 27, 33 and 38 all share the same lines and basic layout concept inside. Heaps of room for their sizes and quality fitout. Mine is a 1986 model and still looks and performs better than many new boats on offer I have seen at the boat shows. There are some amazing 27s on the water and the way the price of used boats has fallen in the last couple of years they represent terrific value. I would like there to be a Northshore owners group to share experience. I saw somewhere someone was setting up a forum for 38 owners so maybe that will eventually extend to 27s and 33s. Great boats.
