My wife and I would like to learn how to sail and wondered if anybody has any suggestions to help find a suitable club. Ultimately I'm after a family friendly club we enjoy going to which doesn't cost the earth. We have two small children (8&4) so the plan would be to get them involved once we know what were doing. I would also be keen to purchase a boat once I've got the necessary experience so a short waiting list for a pen/mooring would be a bonus.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

I am only saying this because this is the yacht club I go to, but Nedlands Yacht Club is relatively cheap and has learn to sail programs

It is hard to give advice without knowing where you live, but

NOR Claremont, Perth Flying Squad, Hilliries and Mounts Bay (Though not sure about pens they only have one jetty).
