She was down here in the late 70s &80s, I think the79 S2H was a bad one and she was pushed very hard, ended up been repaired by a local panel beater.
I did a few races on her in 88, remember the year as we were sailing back up the derwent early one morning after an overnight race the river was full of over 100 tall ships ready to take part in the bicentenary race to sydney, she was owned by eddiss boxes back then, very well know yachtsman down here that was still winning races in his 90s.

i loved that boat as a kid. Police Car, classic, the three tone paint job, IOR.
The good old days when boats had proper names, not all advertising billboard crap!
Wasn't there a rule 26? I know tech has moved on and got so costly, but these were glory days and a simpler time.
Good to see the old girl still up and about

Our regal sailing patron, goes by the name of "Prince Toohey la Toohey", has a few good stories about her. We stopped by Gladstone a few yeras back, the police caps still on display in the trophy cabinets.

Remind me again & I'll see what I can dig up
