Is this a reasonable price for S&S 34 ?

Has new sails and brand new David Lambourne mast etc, I know the guy who is selling and so far there has been no interest, just curious if it is overpriced?

I think it's priced about right. Nice boat, I can remember when it was for sale a few years ago for a lot of money, I remember the upholstery. Nicely fitted out with good teak trim but the trim near the main hatch needs work. This may put off prospective buyers who baulk at the idea of getting their hands dirty. The tiller steering and engine mounted centrally and flasher sounder appeal to me but may not appeal to those looking for a first boat. It's weird I know but people starting out boating now tend to start with wheel steering and lots a flashing digital stuff and completely ignore a boat with inherently fine sailing qualities.

I'm always curious as to why people don't tidy their boats up before they take sales photos. A tidy boat evokes feelings of reliability, dependability and order.
