Hi All,
I have been following the posts here for some time and can now finally join as I have just purchased my first SV, a Pelican 27. It is currently at Balmoral NSW and I am looking for a reasonably priced rigger in the area. Need to get this done before bringing her around to Kogarah Bay where it will live. Any one know of any good riggers that doesn't charge the earth?

rigging ... u talking about the spars/spreaders/mast or fittings/cleats/ropes? or both ...

Hi Nicko,
Rigging SS standing rig and running rig. Mast spreaders etc are OK for now.
Probably pull down next winter and sand and repaint then. But need the rest down nw for insurance and safety.

Thank you, I have had it rigged and now deciding whether to rip out the "green death" and put on a Yamaha 9.9 extra long high thrust o/board with electric start or not?

green death )? inboard ? .. out boards are good we use only a 3.5hp on a 28ft yacht only to get of moring and stay head to wind for sails .. and same after sailing ...
just if u get one a bit big .. ts a hand full putting it on fron dingy to bracket .. or mabey padlock it permanent?
