So it says 16 knots in the morning coming down to 10knots by the afternoon/evening for Sydney. Is this a decent wind for tomorrow at Brooklyn or being sheltered will I just end up sitting on the water complaining? I know it is supposed to be a "good working breeze" but Brooklyn being sheltered I wasn't sure.
I know it is a basic question, but I really need experienced opinions. Just a yes or no would be enough :).

Ive already learnt that when there is no wind you get really frustrated and use alot of petrol and get a headache in the process. No thanks :).

I'm looking out the window over Pittwater at the moment and the boats doing the Australian Match Race champs are sailing in a very nice 10 knot southerly. Looks quite pleasant...

Well I will know for next time, 10-15 in Sydney is enough.

Howdy, glad you're trying some new places. I just thought I drop you a line to say that BYRA is having their opening day and we'd love for you to come down and try out the club. The sailing instructions and Notice of Race has been posted on www.byra.com.au. It's a very reasonable club price wise and you'd be sailing with like minded people. You can sail to the club from the Bayview boat ramp or if you just want to pop in for a visit, come and find me. I'll be sailing my International Canoe, AUS 33.

Thanks for the offer Jethrow but Im not really interested in joining a club. I already am a member of a shooting club and I race my Mazda. Really going to just stick to learning/cruising and fishing on my own time.
