Our apartment building is being renovated and the lift will be out of action for a week towards the end of May (we’re on the top floor) - so the plan is to drive north to visit some relatives which I agreed to - but only if I can take my Weta 4.4 Trimaran with us ;-)

Apart from Port Stephens and Lake Macquarie, does anyone have contacts or clubs I should contact for a possible race, demo day or just interesting places to cruise around in a small trimaran.

More about the Weta at www.wetamarine.com

Regards

Great Lakes SC about 10km south of Foster is one to definately put on the itinerary. North from there there is not a lot of great places to put a weta in. At Coffs they sail on the river and is quite restricted and the next decent club north is Big River SC on the Northern side of the river at the turnoff for Yamba. If you are going to the Gold Coast, Southport YC is definately worth a visit.

Thanks Brett. I'll add Great Lakes SC to the list of possibles.

If anyone would like a demo sail in a Weta, let me know why I should come to your club ;-)

If you are trying to sell them why do you not announce you will be in X location at Y time for a free demonstration.

That occurs to me to be a better marketing strategy than asking "Why I should come to your club."

Think positive Sunshine. It is the only way to go.
