Anyway "Second sail" was the dealers name and he has plenty of stock for small or large boats, there is also a dealer in Melbourne by the name of "Warwick Hobin" with a net listing of all stock, Worth a try if your suffering from the GFC or just too lazy to get work like me!
I have bought several sails from Alan for my old yacht. The main was off a 34 foot racer, full battens and superb quality Dacron, I cut it down to suit. Was obviously someone's Dacron no expense sail and probably replaced it with some sort of carbon mix sail. His descriptions and photos are usually spot on. One of the best sails on that boat come off eBay, a number 3 Kevlar Mylar [onion bag]. Paid $5 and $25 postage. I have spent several hours repairing it but damn its a good sail. Another cheapy was a Mylar radial cut genoa. Great sail but when it started delaminating its all over.
There are some great sails out there secondhand. Alan has a nice looking Currawong 30 main advertised for about $140. If I didn't have 3 really good ones already I would be tempted.
