Hi everyone,

I'm new to the forum.
We're just about to sell out trailer sailer and get into a 28-30 yacht keelboat.

Does anyone have information about the Quest 8? (also known as Quest 29?)

Many thanks

Chris

Bluey Williams design which was originally the Quest 23 and later the stern was extended to make it 26 feet.
Built by Quest Yachts at Bulimba.
Quite old boats now as the 23 came out in about 1974.

BW approached Swansons to make the Quest a more appealing yacht .So it was lengthen and the freeboard raised and the cabin was changed .

Buy this as an interim boat!

That motor looks like it is going to cost money . The guy is short of cash why buy something that is going to cost money as an interim only to loose when he buys what he wants?
Spend the money on the boat you are going to keep and get some return for investment.

Few bucks to replace the plastic hoses with rubber. It will probably reach $3000. Sail it for 12 months and then give it back to Jonathon.
