Anybody been? If so was it worth it? Thinking of going on the last day tomorrow as there will perhaps be less crowds. Don't want to miss anything if someone wants to suggest anything particularly interesting.

I went on Thursday. I think you might be disappointed.

Underwhelmed is the best word to describe it. I think the cost of exhibiting is a major factor keeping the good stuff away.

Thanks guys. Didn't go in the end because my son was sick and home from school.
I have a good friend who went and he also said he was very disappointed. Maybe manufacturers are thinking that they all have long waiting lists and shortages of supply so why advertise for more customers at great expense. Hell there are many people in the industry who don't even bother answering their phone these days.

Yeh - it was tiny. Even some of the usual stands weren't there, like the second hand Musto one that sells last season stuff. About the best things for me in it was the chance to go bug both Garmin & B&G about various tech questions that are impossible to get answered online. Otherwise, didn't spend a cent (happy wife!).

Was with my father, a renowned stinkboat man. New outboards are a minimum 6 month waitlist, far longer for the more popular styles. Apparently Yamaha in particular are hoarding all of their new engines for the US market and not making allocations available outside there for their own dealers to sell.

Most interesting sailboats on show would've been a Figaro, Dehler 30OD & Lisa Blairs boat. There was also a small DIY boat inside...I think it was a Cygnet?
